Professionalism:
To begin with, this trip had never been run by our school
before, but it fit our needs perfectly. This is no doubt
that Aquaterra has taken the time to get to know AES as
a client and they deliver what we want. For example, we
informed Aquaterra that we wanted our students to learn
some outdoor skills. Aquaterra systematically structured
in lessons such that students learned how to set up their
own tents—something that students were then expected
to do the rest of the trip! |
 |
Food:
I was stunned by the quality of the food that the camp
cook “Bachchi” was able to produce. Our group
of 19 ate like kings for 5 days in the field (better than
any hotel food we ate during the trip). The food was delicious
and there was a huge variety of cuisines. |
 |
Hygiene:
During five days of camping not a single member of our
party became ill with a stomach illness. This is incredible
given the conditions in which we were living and traveling.
Aquaterra professional Rob Eagle is to be particularly
commended for his vigilance re: the students about hygiene,
in spite of how exhausted everyone was. |

Student
orientation: Aquaterra professionals Rob and Avilash
were both keenly attentive to student needs at all times.
The know how to drive soft city students when they needed
motivation. But when students needed extra attention,
they were both on hand to do the necessary. For example,
Rob personally dressed blisters every morning. |
 |
Equipment:
Aquaterra supplied tents and sleeping mats for
all members of our party. These were of top quality and
they functioned well, even in the extremely cold conditions
we encountered. Dining, washing, toilet, and sitting equipment
was all more than adequate. |
 |
Safety:
Very well done. |
 |
Warmth:
The agents were not only professional, they were very
personable with the students! |
